JUKI TNU-243U Single Needle Flat Bed Walking Foot Sewing Machine with Barrel Style Shuttle Hook for Heavy Leather and Materials, Made in JAPAN
The JUKI TNU-243U is a heavy duty flat bed walking foot sewing machine with large barrel style shuttle hook ideal for sewing thick leather such as belts, saddles, knife sheets, gun holsters, straps and tie downs, acoustic barriers, tents, bag handles and other articles made of heavy weight materials using thick thread.
The TNU-243U machine will handle thread sizes TEX 138, 210, 277, and 350. Large barrel style shuttle hook will allow for sewing bigger runs without having to stop and change the bobbins as often.
Thanks to the TNU-243U’s unison-feed mechanism, the machine’s higher feed efficiency guarantees the output of high-quality seams free from uneven material feed.
The lifting range of the presser foot is as high as 20mm for smooth placement/removal of extra-heavy-weight materials.
The machine comes with a large shuttle-hook. This type of shuttle-hook helps to reduce the frequency of bobbin thread replacement and is best suited for the sewing of extra-heavy-weight materials sewn with lower-count threads.
The bobbin winder is built into the front portion of the machine arm for easy manipulation.
